National Cartoonists Society Connecticut Chapter Art Exhibition/Reception

Friday, October 14, 2016 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

A group exhibition of more than a dozen National Cartoonists Society Connecticut Chapter members will feature original cartoons created for newspapers, greeting cards, licensing, children’s books, magazines and other popular media.  

Noted cartoonists include Chance Browne of Wilton, the family dynasty of Mort, Greg, Brian (Wilton) and Neal Walker, Mary Anne Case—New Canaan, Jerry Dumas—Greenwich, Bob Englehart—Middletown, the late Dick Hodgins—Wilton, Bill Janocha—Stamford, Sean Kelly—Fairfield, Maria Scrivan—Stamford, and Rick Stromoski— Suffield.  Additional cartoonists to be announced.  

Many of the works will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library. Exhibition runs through Friday, November 11.
