Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition/Reception—Bonnie Johnson

November brings Bonnie Beers Johnson the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Bonnie will be exploring significant historical details of the park; colors and textures of places and things that go unnoticed and make Weir Farm unique. Combining traditional techniques with contemporary validates the history of Weir Farm and simultaneously promotes the forward thinking vision of today's park.  Johnson uses a printmaking technique called silk aquatint. She combines painting and printmaking to produce variable edition prints in a unique painting style similar to impressionist.   Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library.
