Extreme Customer Service: Susan Salgado Speaks

  • Darien Library 1441 Boston Post Road Darien, CT, 06820 United States (map)

Darien Library is proud to present Susan Salgado, founding partner of Hospitality Quotient, in its first annual Louise Parker Berry Lecture. The Louise Parker Berry Lecture series honors Darien Library’s longest-serving director, who led the Darien Library from 1979-2014, and created a culture of extreme customer service that brought the Library to national prominence. The Board is proud to present one lecture each year, speaking on a topic that reinforces Louise’s belief that library patrons should expect incredible service on every visit, and that a successful library always finds a way to say yes.

Launched in 2010 by Susan and restaurateur Danny Meyer, Hospitality Quotient helps organizations all over the world improve their hospitality and service in order to improve the bottom line. Susan will speak on the importance of hospitality in running a successful business, and talk about how treating your customers like guests does more than make them feel good—it also improves the performance of your business.
