MEET THE PANELISTS of Design Night Out: Sound.

Michelle Spinei is a DJ and host of the radio program Surf Party Apocalypse on WPKN 89.5-Fm in Bridgeport. Growing up in a musical family, she started collecting vinyl records at a young age. Her radio show stemmed from her love of 60s beach party movies and their surf music soundtracks. The show has evolved to capture her eclectic taste in music and appreciation of vintage recordings, ranging from Garage Rock and Shoegaze to Afro-Pop and Dancehall.

When it comes to DJing events, Michelle enjoys getting people up and dancing. She has DJ'ed events throughout Fairfield County at B:Hive Bridgeport, Franklin Street Works, Stamford Innovation Center, Read's Artspace, and of course, The Bananaland.

Michelle will also be spinning for us the night of the event!
