An acclaimed special guest showcases the new piano, demonstrating the exciting new technological features of the piano and the Forum space.
Sword swallower, strongman and sideshow showman Adam RealMan is joined by artists from the Coney Island Circus Sideshow to add magic
to the Westport Library.
Play With Your Food, Westport’s lunchtime play-reading series, performs one of their clever one-act plays.
Dance along with the Hartford Hot Several Brass Bandand their New Orleans-style music.
The Suzuki Music School of Westport fills the Forum with sounds of celebration.

The Westport Center for Senior Activities writing program, led by Jan Bassin, hosts hands-on writing activities for the whole family.
The Fairfield Scribes are also on hand with drop-in readings and workshops.

Stop by any of our new meeting and study rooms for a bite-sized learning experience. An expert in each room will be teaching micro-lessons on everything from first aid to art appreciation. In The Children’s Library
Join our Children’s Staff in celebrating the 50th anniversary of
Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Participate in building an enormous newspaper cocoon, then celebrate both the Library and the caterpillar’s transformation by making your own butterfly. Other Caterpillar crafts will be available and of course, you can drop by to hear the story.
