The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) will host Darien-based photographer Ben Larrabee for an artist talk and book launch. The event celebrates the release of “Trudie: A Portrait by Ben Larrabee”, a new photo book featuring 51 portraits of the artist’s wife and muse, Trudie, photographed over a 20-year period. The collection offers an intimate exploration of love, trust, and the evolving role of the artist’s muse.
The evening will include a moderated conversation with Ben and Trudie. The discussion will provide insight into the creative process behind the book, including the influence of Larrabee’s mentors and the deeply collaborative nature of the work.

Ben is part of a new show at the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC), “RAC Masters,” on view September 5 through October 4, 2025. This exhibition is a member-only small group show where each participating artist presents a body of work. Other artists include: Bill Gore, Mindy Green, Ira Hara, Nina Nelson, George Radwan, Barbara Shapiro, Lisa Thoren, Kris Toohey and Carol Young. Mindy Green will serve as moderator for the evening.
