The works of more than 30 area artists from Weir Farm National Historical Park’s Artist Collective program will be featured in Wilton Library's October- November art exhibition, Weir Inspired: Works of the Weir Farm Artist Collective. The exhibit will be on view during library hours from October 5 through November 19, 2026, with the opening reception on October 9th.
The Weir Farm Artist Collective continues the rich tradition of creativity inspired by the Weir Farm National Historical Park landscape. Founded in 2023, the Collective brings together artists of all skill levels and mediums to connect, create, and share ideas.
Members of the Collective represent a wide range of artistic practices—including oil, gouache, acrylic, and watercolor painting; drawing; printmaking; photography; pastel; and mixed media. Together, they cultivate a vibrant, collaborative community rooted in artistic exploration. Weir Farm National Historical Park hosts gatherings and paint-outs that are open to all, fostering a community of practice among local artists.
