Micki's Game Plan
It's the week of 1/19/2015 and we face that age old question of what to do. As usual there is amazing amount of great stuff going and much of it is free.
Here's my plan...
Art
Coney Island Side Show
Friday 1/23/15 Westport Arts Center has an opening 6-8 p.m. Topic--Coney Island Side Show. Focuses on photographs that depict Coney Island’s attraction and transformation of people and place over the last 80 years. Coney Island: Side Show features work by 15 photographers including Bruce Davidson, Morris Engel, and Arthur Leipzig alongside Westport photographers Nathaniel Gibbons, Douglas Healey, David Kalman, and Stephen Wilkes. And did I mention that the food is great now that Festivities is doing the catering?! Healthy, beautiful presentation--apropos for an arts center. Sure to draw a big crowd. https://westportartscenter.org/gallery
Afterwards my friends and I will dash up to the Wilton Library to catch a peek at the art opening.
